1K 4.1:   So king Solomon was king over all Israel.
1R 4.1:   FUÉ pues el rey Salomón rey sobre todo Israel.
1K 4.2:   And these [were] the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,
1R 4.2:   Y estos fueron los príncipes que tuvo: Azarías hijo de Sadoc, sacerdote;
1K 4.3:   Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.
1R 4.3:   Elioreph y Ahía, hijos de Sisa, escribas; Josaphat hijo de Ahilud, canciller;
1K 4.4:   And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada [was] over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar [were] the priests:
1R 4.4:   Benaía hijo de Joiada era sobre el ejército; y Sadoc y Abiathar eran los sacerdotes;
1K 4.5:   And Azariah the son of Nathan [was] over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan [was] principal officer, [and] the king's friend:

1K 4.6:   And Ahishar [was] over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda [was] over the tribute.
1R 4.6:   Y Ahisar era mayordomo; y Adoniram hijo de Abda era sobre el tributo.
1K 4.7:   And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.
1R 4.7:   Y tenía Salomón doce gobernadores sobre todo Israel, los cuales mantenían al rey y á su casa. Cada uno de ellos estaba obligado á abastecer por un mes en el año.
1K 4.8:   And these [are] their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:
1R 4.8:   Y estos son los nombres de ellos: el hijo de Hur en el monte de Ephraim;
1K 4.9:   The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:
1R 4.9:   El hijo de Decar, en Maccas, y en Saalbim, y en Beth-semes, y en Elón, y en Beth-hanan;
1K 4.10:   The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him [pertained] Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
1R 4.10:   El hijo de Hesed, en Aruboth; éste tenía también á Sochô y toda la tierra de Ephet.
1K 4.11:   The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
1R 4.11:   El hijo de Abinadab, en todos los términos de Dor: éste tenía por mujer á Thaphat hija de Salomón;
1K 4.12:   Baana the son of Ahilud; [to him pertained] Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which [is] by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, [even] unto [the place that is] beyond Jokneam:
1R 4.12:   Baana hijo de Ahilud, en Taanach y Megiddo, y en toda Beth-san, que es cerca de Zaretán, por bajo de Jezreel, desde Beth-san hasta Abel-mehola, y hasta la otra parte de Jocmeam;
1K 4.13:   The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him [pertained] the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which [are] in Gilead; to him [also pertained] the region of Argob, which [is] in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:
1R 4.13:   El hijo de Geber, en Ramoth de Galaad; éste tenía también las ciudades de Jair hijo de Manasés, las cuales estaban en Galaad; tenía también la provincia de Argob, que era en Basán, sesenta grandes ciudades con muro y cerraduras de bronce;
1K 4.14:   Ahinadab the son of Iddo [had] Mahanaim:
1R 4.14:   Ahinadab hijo de Iddo, en Mahanaim;
1K 4.15:   Ahimaaz [was] in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
1R 4.15:   Ahimaas en Nephtalí; éste tomó también por mujer á Basemath hija de Salomón.
1K 4.16:   Baanah the son of Hushai [was] in Asher and in Aloth:
1R 4.16:   Baana hijo de Husai, en Aser y en Aloth;
1K 4.17:   Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:
1R 4.17:   Josaphat hijo de Pharua, en Issachâr;
1K 4.18:   Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:
1R 4.18:   Semei hijo de Ela, en Benjamín;
1K 4.19:   Geber the son of Uri [was] in the country of Gilead, [in] the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and [he was] the only officer which [was] in the land.
1R 4.19:   Geber hijo de Uri, en la tierra de Galaad, la tierra de Sehón rey de los Amorrheos, y de Og rey de Basán; éste era el único gobernador en aquella tierra.
1K 4.20:   Judah and Israel [were] many, as the sand which [is] by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
1R 4.20:   Judá é Israel eran muchos, como la arena que está junto á la mar en multitud, comiendo y bebiendo y alegrándose.
1K 4.21:   And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
1R 4.21:   Y Salomón señoreaba sobre todos los reinos, desde el río de la tierra de los Filisteos hasta el término de Egipto: y traían presentes, y sirvieron á Salomón todos los días que vivió.
1K 4.22:   And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
1R 4.22:   Y la despensa de Salomón era cada día treinta coros de flor de harina, y sesenta coros de harina.
1K 4.23:   Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.
1R 4.23:   Diez bueyes engordados, y veinte bueyes de pasto, y cien ovejas; sin los ciervos, cabras, búfalos, y aves engordadas.
1K 4.24:   For he had dominion over all [the region] on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
1R 4.24:   Porque él señoreaba en toda la región que estaba de la otra parte del río, desde Tiphsa hasta Gaza, sobre todos los reyes de la otra parte del río; y tuvo paz por todos lados en derredor suyo.
1K 4.25:   And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
1R 4.25:   Y Judá é Israel vivían seguros, cada uno debajo de su parra y debajo de su higuera, desde Dan hasta Beer-seba, todos los días de Salomón.
1K 4.26:   And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
1R 4.26:   Tenía además de esto Salomón cuarenta mil caballos en sus caballerizas para sus carros, y doce mil jinetes.
1K 4.27:   And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.
1R 4.27:   Y estos gobernadores mantenían al rey Salomón, y á todos los que á la mesa del rey Salomón venían, cada uno un mes; y hacían que nada faltase.
1K 4.28:   Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where [the officers] were, every man according to his charge.
1R 4.28:   Hacían también traer cebada y paja para los caballos y para las bestias de carga, al lugar donde él estaba, cada uno conforme al cargo que tenía.
1K 4.29:   And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that [is] on the sea shore.
1R 4.29:   Y dió Dios á Salomón sabiduría, y prudencia muy grande, y anchura de corazón como la arena que está á la orilla del mar.
1K 4.30:   And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
1R 4.30:   Que fué mayor la sabiduría de Salomón que la de todos los orientales, y que toda la sabiduría de los Egipcios.
1K 4.31:   For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.
1R 4.31:   Y aun fué más sabio que todos los hombres; más que Ethán Ezrahita, y que Emán y Calchôl y Darda, hijos de Mahol: y fué nombrado entre todas las naciones de alrededor.
1K 4.32:   And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
1R 4.32:   Y propuso tres mil parábolas; y sus versos fueron mil y cinco.
1K 4.33:   And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that [is] in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
1R 4.33:   También disertó de los árboles, desde el cedro del Líbano hasta el hisopo que nace en la pared. Asimismo disertó de los animales, de las aves, de los reptiles, y de los peces.
1K 4.34:   And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
1R 4.34:   Y venían de todos los pueblos á oir la sabiduría de Salomón, y de todos los reyes de la tierra, donde había llegado la fama de su sabiduría.
