Ezk 29.1:   In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the twelfth [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ez 29.1:   La dixième année, au dixième [mois], le douzième [jour] du mois, la parole de l’Éternel vint à moi, disant :
Ezk 29.2:   Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
Ez 29.2:   Fils d’homme, tourne ta face contre le Pharaon, le roi d’Égypte, et prophétise contre lui et contre l’Égypte tout entière.
Ezk 29.3:   Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river [is] mine own, and I have made [it] for myself.
Ez 29.3:   Parle, et dis : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, j’en veux à toi, le Pharaon, roi d’Égypte, grand monstre des eaux, couché au milieu de ses fleuves, qui dis : Mon fleuve est à moi, et je me le suis fait !
Ezk 29.4:   But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
Ez 29.4:   Et je mettrai un anneau dans tes mâchoires, et j’attacherai à tes écailles les poissons de tes fleuves, et je te ferai monter du milieu de tes fleuves, et tous les poissons de tes fleuves qui sont attachés à tes écailles.
Ezk 29.5:   And I will leave thee [thrown] into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
Ez 29.5:   Et je te jetterai dans le désert, toi et tous les poissons de tes fleuves ; tu tomberas sur la face des champs, tu ne seras pas recueilli ni rassemblé ; je te donnerai en pâture aux bêtes de la terre et aux oiseaux des cieux.
Ezk 29.6:   And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I [am] the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
Ez 29.6:   Et tous les habitants de l’Égypte sauront que je suis l’Éternel, parce qu’ils ont été un appui de roseau pour la maison d’Israël ;
Ezk 29.7:   When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
Ez 29.7:   lorsqu’ils t’ont pris par la main, tu t’es rompu, et tu leur as déchiré toute l’épaule ; et quand ils se sont appuyés sur toi, tu t’es cassé, et tu as fait chanceler tous leurs reins.
Ezk 29.8:   Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
Ez 29.8:   C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, je fais venir l’épée sur toi, et je retrancherai de toi hommes et bêtes.
Ezk 29.9:   And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD: because he hath said, The river [is] mine, and I have made [it].
Ez 29.9:   Et le pays d’Égypte sera une désolation et un désert ; et ils sauront que je suis l’Éternel, parce qu’il a dit : Le fleuve est à moi, et moi je l’ai fait.
Ezk 29.10:   Behold, therefore I [am] against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste [and] desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
Ez 29.10:   C’est pourquoi, voici, j’en veux à toi et à tes fleuves, et je ferai du pays d’Égypte des déserts d’aridité et de désolation, depuis Migdol à Syène, et jusqu’à la frontière de l’Éthiopie ;
Ezk 29.11:   No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
Ez 29.11:   le pied de l’homme n’y passera pas, et le pied de la bête n’y passera pas ; et il ne sera pas habité pendant quarante ans.
Ezk 29.12:   And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries [that are] desolate, and her cities among the cities [that are] laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
Ez 29.12:   Et je ferai du pays d’Égypte une désolation au milieu des pays désolés, et ses villes seront, au milieu des villes dévastées, une désolation pendant quarante ans ; et je disperserai les Égyptiens parmi les nations, et je les disséminerai dans les pays.
Ezk 29.13:   Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
Ez 29.13:   Mais ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Au bout de quarante ans, je rassemblerai les Égyptiens d’entre les peuples parmi lesquels ils auront été dispersés ;
Ezk 29.14:   And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return [into] the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
Ez 29.14:   et je rétablirai les captifs de l’Égypte, et je les ferai revenir dans le pays de Pathros, dans le pays de leur origine ; et ils seront là un royaume abaissé.
Ezk 29.15:   It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
Ez 29.15:   Il sera plus bas que tous les royaumes, et il ne s’élèvera plus au-dessus des nations, et je les diminuerai, en sorte qu’ils ne dominent plus sur les nations.
Ezk 29.16:   And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth [their] iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.
Ez 29.16:   Et il ne sera plus la confiance de la maison d’Israël, mettant en mémoire son iniquité quand elle se tournait après eux ; et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
Ezk 29.17:   And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ez 29.17:   Et il arriva, la vingt-septième année, au premier [mois], le premier [jour] du mois, que la parole de l’Éternel vint à moi, disant :
Ezk 29.18:   Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head [was] made bald, and every shoulder [was] peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
Ez 29.18:   Fils d’homme, Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, a fait travailler son armée à un grand travail contre Tyr : toute tête en est devenue chauve, et toute épaule en a été écorchée ; et il n’a eu de Tyr aucun salaire, ni pour lui, ni pour son armée, pour le travail qu’il a fait contre elle.
Ezk 29.19:   Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
Ez 29.19:   C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Voici, je donne à Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, le pays d’Égypte ; et il en enlèvera la multitude, il en emportera le butin, et en fera le pillage : et ce sera le salaire de son armée.
Ezk 29.20:   I have given him the land of Egypt [for] his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
Ez 29.20:   En récompense de son travail contre Tyr, je lui ai donné le pays d’Égypte, parce qu’ils ont travaillé pour moi, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.
Ezk 29.21:   In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
Ez 29.21:   En ce jour-là je ferai germer la corne de la maison d’Israël, et je te donnerai une bouche ouverte au milieu d’eux ; et ils sauront que je suis l’Éternel.
